See and Be Scene

Again, somewhat short notice, but tonight is an excellent night for a live show! You may have to drive carefully, but it will be worth it. Detroit's The Hard Lessons are playing at Mickey Finn's Pub! The first time I saw this band I had never even heard their music prior to the show, but they still got me dancing. Basically, straight up rock and roll that makes you want to sing along. Do NOT miss this one!

Striking Writers turn Television Audiences to Cannibalism

With the writers strike wreaking havoc on network television, Toboggan lines up some shows that can get you through the lull.
I still firmly believe that Big Brother is the most interesting/entertaining reality show out there. That being said, the strike has turned out to be a blessing in disguise for BB fans- forcing CBS to run two seasons this year, the first starting in February. I'm no jensa member, but two Big Brothers are better than one, right?

The only problem with a February Big Brother is the Lost overlap. Although there are only 8 episodes of the fourth season ready, I'm sure they'll be packed with black smoke monsters, invisible Jacobs, flashbacks/flash-forwards, and the usual unbelievably hygienic castaways. Or just spend hours and hours of time online trying to figure out ridiculous clues behind the show (like being this guy's friend on myspace), J.J. Abrams has got his viral marketing down!

American Gladiators returned tonight, and besides having adult film star gladiators, the show basically picked up where it left off. Tune in to see the Hulkster send poor souls to the eliminator, in a quest for $100,000.

If you don't own a TV and none of this matters to you- I've basically spent the last two hours watching clips from Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job! Watch every clip from the Adult Swim show online, in all it's green screen glory- with some great cameos from John C. Riley, Jeff Goldblum, Rainn Wilson, and David Cross.
