You can dance if you want to!

For those that are into good music (that's all of you) and strong drinks, Frankie's has a promising new night on Saturdays.  Think Radio 4, Crystal Castles, My Bloody Valentine, and maybe some Prince if we're lucky.  The gentleman DJing has impeccable taste in music & you won't be disappointed!

Free Answering Machine Music!

I haven't been to Woodchuck's in ages, so I was glad to find out that it's still open and slinging cider to thirsty Toledoans. Not only is it open, but there's an awesome show down there tonight...and it's FREE!! Not sure what time it starts (8pm, I think), but 4 bands will be playing:

Casiotone for the Painfully Alone [Chicago - http://www. myspace. com/cftpa]
Concern [Portland - http://www. myspace. com/nostophilia]
Seeping Matter [Toledo - http://www. myspace. com/gabebeam]
Blithefield

I heard about Casiotone for the Painfully Alone a few years back and can only describe it as electrocute synth pop. It's the beats and keys solo project of film school drop-out Owen Ashworth. Definitely worth checking out, and it's free, no excuses!
