Running through end of December, Hudson Gallery is playing host to Yuji Hiratsuka's 'Idyllic Impression: Paper and Ink'. He specializes in a very labor intensive printing process, that blends traditional Japanese themes with undeniable Western influences.
One site boasts that his work is represented in numerous collections including: Tokyo Central Museum, New York Museum of Modern Art, Art Institute of Chicago, Library of Congress, The British Museum and the Achenback Foundation for Graphic Arts, San Francisco. Hudson Gallery usually brings in some nice shows- make sure you see it by the end of the year.
